Waxing FAQs:

How long does my hair need to be before waxing?

For the best results, hair should be approximately ¼ inch long about the length of a grain of rice. If you’ve been shaving, allow approximately 2–3 weeks of growth before your appointment.

Can I get waxed while I’m on my period?

Yes! You can still receive a Brazilian wax while on your period. A fresh tampon, menstrual cup, or disc must be worn during the service. Keep in mind that you may be a little more sensitive during this time.

I have PCOS/PMOS or coarse facial/body hair. Can I still get waxed?

Absolutely. Hormonal hair growth and coarse hair are nothing to be embarrassed about. Your service will be customized based on your skin and hair growth, and our space is judgment free.

Are there any medications I should avoid before waxing?

Yes. Certain medications and skincare products can make waxing unsafe, including Accutane/isotretinoin, prescription retinoids (such as tretinoin), retinol, and certain acne medications.

Please disclose all medications and topical products before your service. If you’re unsure, contact us before booking.
